Very thought provoking. I think the best $200 I've spent is for my Bose headset because I listen to my Ipods constantly. Music is all that I've found that helps in any way with the noise in my head. So the ability to hear my music so crisp and clear is life saving at times. Not really exciting but is meaningful to me.... I hope to spend another $100 after X-mas on portable Bose earphones for my Ipods. I know I could never survive without my music multiple times on a daily basis.
Good for you, Cheryl going for your motorcycle license!! Are you going thru a training class to get it? My best friend is an MSF instructor and let me tell you this chick can ride!!! I've had my license since 85' and am a member of an all women motorcycle organization here in Mass. Currently I'm saving money for a new/used bike but prioritys keep getting in the way....I miss riding, somehow I lost a part of myself when my bike died. Good luck and that money spent will bring you years of happiness....
Yes LTO, I am going through a training class. Where does your friend teach? Maybe I should attend her class. I cannot wait to ride - I have been wanting to do that for a long time - always a passenger - done with that - time to RIDE!!!
Hey Cheryl, She teaches at Ironstone Ventures in Seekonk at the speedway. The website is ironstoneventures.com, they have all kinds of classes. If that's not to far for you to travel I'd say take it there with her. She's an awesome teacher, very knowledgeable and patient. And what a rider!! She owns two bikes, a new Goldwing and a sporty Kawasaki ZZR1200! She rides cross country all the time. I'm wicked jealous, LOL!! I wish you the best of luck where ever you take the course!!! What kind of bike do you have or want? Touring, sport??
Hey LTO - Thanks for the info - It is not too too far away from me - I may consider it. I do not have a bike yet - but it will be for touring - maybe a Honda Shadow! We will see! Funny, I have met someone recently who mentioned the Speedway as well - small world!
